Thomas More values student participation highly. Each programme or unit has its own student council, composed of elected student representatives. These translate the student voice to the programme managers about the quality of education, the atmosphere on campus and so on.
There is also an overarching General Student Council, in which delegates from the various student councils participate. They take care of issues that concern all students, regardless of their study programme. This concerns, for instance, the education and examination regulations, student restaurants, and so on.
